a great place for bees
The Catskill Mountain Beekeepers Club began in 1996 with a dedicated and experienced handful of people. We now have over 130 member families who raise bees, teach others about beekeeping, and sell their honey products. We contribute our time and information to the Catskill communities by participating in numerous events in Greene County. In addition to our hive products, our exhibition booths contain literature, posters, equipment, and an observation hive.
our mission
The purpose and objectives of our club are to:
• Serve as a resource to local beekeepers.
• Educate the community about the joys, skills and fruits of beekeeping.
• Provide an outlet for the membership to sell member-produced honey and other hive products.
• Foster interactions with the agricultural community and other beekeeping organizations.
• Recruit new members.

We use the term “expert” loosely, and you’ll probably never get the same advice twice, but that’s the beauty of talking bees now isn’t it? Come early and chat with your fellow beeks at the pub. Sign up to be connected with a mentor!
